How to Add or Edit an Announcement Bar on Your Web Store

This guide will help you display important messages like offers, updates, or delivery timings right at the top of your store page using the Announcement Bar feature.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Step 1: Open Your Store Page

   • Log in to your BuildMyStore account.

   • From your dashboard, go to your Store Page.

2. Step 2: Access the Store Builder

   • On the left-hand side menu, look for and click on “Store Builder.”

3. Step 3: Choose Store Web Option

   • After clicking on Store Builder, two options will appear:

     • Store Web

     • Store Mobile

   • Click on the “Store Web” option to customize your web store.

4. Step 4: Select the Announcement Bar

   • A new interface will now open, showing various sections you can customize.

   • Among these options, find and click on “Announcement Bar.”

5. Step 5: Configure Your Announcement

   You will now enter the Announcement Bar editor screen, where you can:

   • Enter your announcement message (e.g., “Free delivery on orders above ₹499!”)

   • Choose Text Color – Select the color of the announcement text.

   • Choose Background Color – Set a background color that matches your store theme.

   Make sure the text is readable and eye-catching for your visitors.

6. Step 6: Save Your Announcement

   • After adding your message and customizing the colors:

     • Click on the “Update Announcement” button.

   • Your announcement will now be live and will appear at the top of your store page, visible to all your customers.

  • You can edit or change the announcement anytime by repeating these steps.

  • Use it to share important information, such as:

    • Discounts or sales

    • Delivery timing updates

    • Festive greetings

    • New product launches
