How to Manage Inventory in BuildMyStore Web

Managing your store's inventory efficiently ensures your customers never face out-of-stock issues and your stock levels remain accurate. Follow these steps to add or edit product inventory:

  1. Step 1: Open Your Store Dashboard

    • Log in to your BuildMyStore account.

    • Go to your Store page from the dashboard.

  2. Step 2: Open the Navigation Menu

    • On the left-hand side, open the navigation menu if it's not already visible.

  3. Step 3: Click on Catalog

    • From the menu options, click on “Catalog”.

    • This section allows you to manage all product-related settings.

  4. Step 4: Open Inventory Section

    • Under the Catalog menu, select the “Inventory” option.

    • A new interface will open showing a list of all products available in your store.

  5. Step 5: Choose the Product to Edit Inventory

    • Browse or search for the product whose inventory you want to update.

    • Click on that specific product to open its inventory settings.

  6. Step 6: Edit Inventory Quantity

    • Click the “Edit” button for the selected product.

    • A side window will open on the right-hand side of the screen.

  7. Step 7: Update Product Quantity

    • In the side panel, locate the inventory or stock field.

    • Enter the new quantity available for the product.

    • After entering the correct number, click the “Update” button at the bottom right.

  • Success!

    Your inventory for that product has been updated successfully and will reflect immediately in your store.

  • Repeat for Other Products

    • Repeat the same steps to manage inventory for each of your products.
