Add a Category in Mobile App

Adding categories to your store helps organize your products, making it easier for your customers to browse. Follow these simple steps to add a category using the BuildMyStore mobile app:

Step 1: Open the Mobile App

1. Launch the BuildMyStore app on your mobile device.

2. Log in to your account if you haven’t already.

Step 2: Go to the Manage Section

1. On the bottom navigation bar, tap on the Manage option.

2. This will take you to the store management screen.

Step 3: Access the Product Section

1. On the Manage page, locate and tap on the Product option.

2. This will open the product management interface, where you can manage products and categories.

Step 4: Open the Category Section

1. On the Product screen, tap on the Category button located in the top right corner of the screen.

2. You will be redirected to the category management section.

Step 5: Add a New Category

1. Tap on the Plus Sign (+) located at the bottom-right corner of the screen.

2. A form will appear where you can enter the category details.

Step 6: Enter Category Details

1. Add the Category Name

   • Type the name of the category (e.g., Beverages, Snacks, Electronics).

2. Upload a Category Image

   • Tap on the image section and upload an image from your mobile device to visually represent the category.

3. Once the details are added, tap the Create button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 7: Add More Categories

1. Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 to add additional categories.

2. You can create as many categories as you need for your store.

Step 8: Save and Organize Your Categories

1. Each time you add a category, it will be automatically saved and appear in your store’s category list.

2. You can assign products to these categories to make browsing easier for your customers.
