How to update a category?

Learn how to update an existing category in BuildMyStore using the BuildMyStore Web App and BuildMyStore Mobile application.

Step-by-Step Guide

Web App

1. Open Categories: Log in to the BuildMyStore Web application at web.buildmystore.io, then go to Catalog → Categories.
2. Select a Category: From the Categories page, select the category you want to update.
3. Open Edit: Select Edit from the Action Menu (⋮) or directly from the Category Details page.
4. Update Category Information: Update the required category details.
5. Save Changes: Select Update Category to save the changes.

Mobile App

1. Open Categories: Log in to the BuildMyStore Mobile application, select Catalog, and then select the Categories tab.
2. Select a Category: From the Categories page, select the category you want to update.
3. Open Edit: Select Edit at the bottom of the page.
4. Update Category Information: Update the required category details.
5. Save Changes: Select Update Category to save the changes.
