How to Create a Product?

Create and manage products for your online store from the Seller Web App or Seller Mobile App. You can create Standard Products with variants or Loose Products sold by weight or quantity.

Step-by-Step Guide

Web App

1. Open Products: Go to Catalog and select the Products tab.
2. Add a Product: Select Add Product in the top-right corner.
3. Enter Basic Information: Enter the Product Name, Brand Name, and Category.
4. Add Variants: For a standard product, select Add Variant, enter the variant name and one or more variant options, then save the option.
5. Add Variant Details: Add SKU, MRP, Selling Price, and Shipping Weight when third-party shipping is enabled.
6. Manage Variants: Upload images for individual variants or select a variant checkbox and Delete it.
7. Add Description: Enter a detailed product description or select Generate with AI to create a description.
8. Upload Images: Upload up to 8 images for the product.
9. Set Product Settings: Use the Active, Subscription, Cost Price, Taxable Product, and Loose Product options as required.
10. Set Loose Product Details: When Loose Product is enabled, add Quantity, MRP, Selling Price, Base Price, minimum and maximum quantity limits, and preset quantities.
11. Create the Product: Review the product details and select Create Product.

Mobile App

1. Open Products: Open the Mobile Application, select Catalog from the bottom navigation bar, and select the Products tab.
2. Add a Product: Select Add Product in the bottom-right corner.
3. Enter Basic Information: Enter the Product Name, Brand Name, and Category.
4. Add a Description: Enter a detailed product description or select Generate with AI.
5. Set Sale Options: Use Visible to Customers to show or hide the product from customers.
6. Set Loose Product: Enable Loose Product for products sold by weight or quantity, then add the unit, Base Quantity, Base Price, quantity range, and Quick-add Presets.
7. Add Variants: For a standard product, disable Loose Product, select Add Variant, and add the variant name and one or more variant values.
8. Add Variant Details: Add MRP and Selling Price for each variant. You can also upload images and control variant visibility.
9. Set Product Options: Enable Subscribable if the product should be available as a subscription and Taxable if tax should apply during checkout.
10. Upload Images: Upload up to 8 images for the product.
11. Create the Product: Review the product details and select Create Product.
