How to configure Razorpay payment gateway?

Razorpay Payment Gateway allows you to accept online payments from customers. Enter the required Razorpay credentials, activate the gateway, and configure the BuildMyStore webhook to receive payment status updates.

Prerequisites​

  • You need an active Razorpay account.
  • You need the credentials provided by Razorpay.
  • Online Payment must be enabled before configuring the gateway.

Step-by-Step Guide​

  1. Open Payments: Log in to BuildMyStore Web App, open Settings, and click Payments.
  2. Enable Payment Gateways: Turn on the Payment Gateways toggle.
  3. Open Razorpay: Find Razorpay and click Connect Now.
  4. Enter Razorpay Credentials: Enter the Key ID and Key Secret.
  5. Save Credentials: Click Save Credentials.
  6. Activate Razorpay: Click Activate.

Razorpay is now activated for your store.

Configure the BuildMyStore Webhook in Razorpay​

Configure the BuildMyStore webhook from the Razorpay Dashboard to receive payment status updates.

Step-by-Step Guide​

  1. Open Webhooks: Log in to the Razorpay Dashboard, go to Account & Settings, and open Webhooks.
  2. Add a webhook: Click + Add New Webhook.
  3. Enter the BuildMyStore webhook URL: Enter the following URL in the Webhook URL field:
    https://api.buildmystore.io/api/pg-webhook/update-razorpay-payment-status
  4. Webhook secret: Enter the Webhook Secret.
  5. Select the required events: Select these three events: order.paid, payment.captured, and payment.failed.
  6. Save the webhook: Click Save or Create Webhook.

The BuildMyStore webhook is now configured in Razorpay.
